Data Privacy Act Notice (RA 10173)
Draft — this page is a working draft prepared for review. It has not yet been signed off by Pamper’s Business Owner or legal counsel, and must not be treated as final until that review is complete.
About this notice
This Data Privacy Notice is issued under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) and its Implementing Rules and Regulations, and explains how Pamper collects, uses, and protects your personal data. It should be read together with our full Privacy Policy.
Personal information controller
Pamper is operated by TechZ Digital (“we,” “us,” “our”), the personal information controller responsible for the data described in this notice. [TODO: registered business address and National Privacy Commission (NPC) registration number to be added once available.]
What we collect and why
- Identity and contact details (name, email, mobile number) — to create and manage your account.
- Service address and location data — to match you with a therapist and support live tracking during a booking.
- Payment details — processed by our payment partner to complete transactions.
- For therapist applicants: NC II certification, DOH license, and NBI clearance — to verify eligibility to provide services on the platform.
Legal basis for processing
We process your personal data based on your consent, and where necessary, to perform our contract with you (providing the booking service you requested) or to comply with legal obligations, such as verifying therapist credentials.
How we share your data
We share only what is necessary to complete a booking (e.g., your name, address, and contact number with your assigned therapist), with service providers who support our platform (such as payment processing and hosting), and with government authorities where required by law.
How we protect your data
We apply reasonable organizational, physical, and technical security measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the data we hold, in line with the Data Privacy Act’s security requirements.
Your rights as a data subject
Under RA 10173, you have the right to be informed, to access your data, to object to processing, to correct inaccurate data, to erasure or blocking (subject to legal retention requirements), to data portability, and to file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission (NPC) if you believe your rights have been violated.
